Irvin Built Construction completed two bathroom makeovers at my house. The before and after photos are dramatic—boring 90’s style to in-house mini-spa. Jordyn’s attention to detail is apparent in every aspect of the project from the initial planning to his excellent tile installation. He communicates well throughout the project from the quote/contract, sharing his schedule (plus he sticks to it) to explaining what is happening during the build. Jordyn took my 1980’s style bathroom and gave it a modern update. He communicated clearly at every stage of the remodel process, especially when faced with several “surprises” when he started tearing out the old fixtures. He made sure that I understood what was happening at all times. He planned out his schedule, which he then stuck to! Jordyn uses top of the line, quality products, and his attention to detail insures that this bathroom will last for years. Every detail is perfect! I highly recommend Irvin Built Construction. Jordyn built us a custom Trex deck, which turned out better than we could have imagined! Jordyn was patient in creating our bid and spent a lot of time brainstorming ideas with us and he made sure he understood our vision. Building homes has had my interest since the beginning. At a young age I would regularly become lost in home design books and could be found buried in a notebook, sketching out ideas I had for dream houses. I assumed when I was older, I would become an architect. But when I started my first year of college, I quickly discovered that architects didn’t get to do much building themselves. When I finished that first year of school, I returned to my hometown of Shelby, Montana, unsure of what was next for myself.
After working for Shelby Paint & Hardware as well as Shelby Glass, I had a life-changing realization. I still wanted to be involved in what it took to make a home, not only with my mind, but with my hands. Eager to further my skills, I entered the carpentry program in Missoula, Montana. Towards the end of school, I landed a job with a remodeling company which I spent a few years at. Still wanting to expand my knowledge and experience of the trade, the chance came for me to work with a new construction/custom log home company which I excitedly took. It was there that I had the opportunity of a lifetime. I spent the next two years in the Tetons building a multi-million dollar log home. It was there I became foreman of a crew and learned a tremendous amount. From construction techniques, to managing large numbers of people, but also handling additional trades and subcontractors. Once the house was completed, I came back home to take the ultimate leap: starting my own business.
Beyond our work on the field and in the office, we actively engage with and contribute to the vibrant Electric City community. Whether it’s coaching youth, sponsoring local initiatives, or actively participating in recycling efforts, we are committed to making a positive impact on Great Falls, ensuring it remains a wonderful place to call home.
